I should be sleeping
But it’s no use.
I can’t stop the words from coming.
I should be sleeping
It’s 12:17 and my
Alarm is set for a quarter past 6.
I should be sleeping
But how can I when the words
Are flowing
Soaring
Emerging
Landing
On the page?
I should be sleeping.
But I know I won’t.
Not tonight.

I wrote this at 12:17 AM, like the poem says. If anyone's wondering, I didn't sleep after writing that poem, and instead wrote a dozen more bad poetry.
