The droplets pitter and patter,
The wind howls and blows,
The lightning cracks,
The clouds rumble,
But I stay still and silent,
letting the sounds ease me to sleep.
And as the morning dawns,
And the storm clouds roll away,
My worries roll away with them.

I wrote this poem because I absolutely love rain. I love the sounds and I especially love falling asleep to rain. Rainstorms always relax me and I wanted to share this piece to express my feelings about rain.
