The Act of Living
Sure, life isn't easy,
but isn't that what makes it so meaningful?
If everything was handed to you,
how would you ever learn to reach?
If you never fell,
how would you ever learn to fly?
If you were never afraid,
how would you ever learn to be brave?
If you never felt pain,
how would you ever know pleasure?
If life was easy,
our presence would be meaningless for these are the qualities that allow us to truly exist.
