On the Shore
I am the careless whisper
in the wind.
I am the way the waves crash
on the shore.
I am the day
that never seems to stop.
I am the one who always
wishes for more.
You are the harsh waters
of the sea.
You are the crunch of snow
under my boot.
You will never be the good memories
I hold in my heart.
You will never be the light
at the end of the tunnel.
I will always be let free.
