School
SCHOOL
A thin mist of rain on my face
Dozens of worms on the ground
The smell of wet pavement
The sound of shoes scraping behind me
As I walk towards the school doors
In class there's many noises
I hear typing
Shuffling bodies
Soft voices
The air filter
Out the window it's raining harder now
There's big puddles on the sidewalk
I see the occasional late student
Or random car pass by
It seems peaceful outside
Quiet and calm
But chaotic inside
Full of movement and noise
