A cat approaches
Gently pawing its way forth
Taking its time to
Smell every centimeter of
My skin.
Its eyes twinkle against
The rampaging rays of sunlight
As it delicately leaps
Onto me,
Ensuring I do not
Avert my attention.
It continues perusing my
Aroma,
Gazing up to me
With enormous emerald eyes
That communicate its
Sweet intentions.
