Hallway
In the sea of students I got lost
Shoes shuffled and voices shouted
The bright fluorescents made the walls shine
human beings blurred
until they were only blobs of color
of their backpacks and clothes
my friend ran after me and I met her
her blonde hair and smile in her eyes
sun shone through the window at the end of the hallway.
