Alone
I can hear the thumping of my heart
The tapping of my fingers on your chest
The pain inside of me screaming.
The fear and bad thoughts scrape their way into my brain, they feel never-ending.
I feel like a teeny tiny bug stuck in a big ole world.
Facing the mirror, staring myself down, trying to decide what is right.
Tears drown my eyes as I question if love is enough, if love can get us through again?
Never have I felt so alone, so uncertain, so afraid.
Goodbye my best friend, I hope we can meet again.

First loves, they leave an impact. They become your best friends and many pray it stays that way. Sometimes it doesn't always workout though and it feels as though your heart broke into pieces, but it only helps you grow.
