tomorrow
Dark, crowded isolation farther than can be seen
Inflexible branches whipping whatever lies near
Gnarled roots snake through damp soil
A confederation of silhouettes dart behind
As trees inherit menacing shadows
Ghostly glints of white radiate from the moon
Enhancing the already glowing feline eyes
That stare from the menagerie of glittering plants
Inadequate light to see what lays ahead
Advantageous to anything beyond
Broken fragments of revelations
Incite the delegate of fear
Footsteps descend
Tugging at the pit of discord
The mutual path diverges
Both lead towards the unknown
Traveling along without foresight
As the posterity of shadows being to fade
And the phenomenon of yellow lights gleam ahead
I step towards the crystalline dawn of tomorrow
