Barbie Doll
Pretty pretty girl, pink lips and pink skin
Dressed teddies, dolls, and clothes go in the bin
Parading through the forest, the glowing shrooms do tell
The spinning of the mushrooms, causing me to fall
I wake up in a new land, a country never seen
Shadow rabbits, scary sniffers and animals, where's their queen?
I wander through the forest, a glowing girl grins,
My mother, she resembles, our conversation begins
I ask her what's her secret, she shakes her head instead
"Be healthy and live long, and in time I will tell"
I wander through a forest, with creepy berries, red
It grins at me to take a bite
I refuse, out of fright
I run further down the path that's carved until I reach the end
It's a pretty fairy, like barbie, whom I hugged to sleep last night
I ask her if she's queen, she answers with a nod
I ask her if I can return to home, she tells me that I cannot
I tell her that my bed is warm, that I hugged to sleep last night
She tells me that it's not possible as I made the land bright
I tell her that I'd like to return home, this time harder, strong
She tells me that I must close my eyes and think of someone I long
I blink awake in my bed, my limbs are all sprawled out
How strange a dream I had last night, I sit up with a pout
Yet the barbie I had hugged to sleep is not inside my arms
Instead she sits up on my desk, a grin, a welcome charm
