If you don't get it right the first time just try try try again

I was lost,

Lost in what I thought was love,

but turned out to be lust,

You didn't want or love me,

You used me for your own happiness,

and let me sit there in my headspace to rot,

I wish you could've seen me smile,

But lately the only smile that appears on my face,

Is one that only she see's,

I trust her,

With my life and it's scary,

But she's my bestfriend,

She deserves my trust,

There's no reason why I shouldn't trust her,

If you have problems trusting someone,

Know that if it's your gut feeling,

It's right not to trust them.

Sometimes its the little things that make you happy

I love this poem and most defiantly relate! I love the combo of words you used in the first stanza. It really is relatable.
