Ode to Blaze
Blaze,
your orange color,
and the stripes on your head,
gave me a glimpse of your personality
I always knew orange cats were special,
that’s why I was up for the challenge.
I knew they were known crackheads,
but you exceeded my expectations.
I’ve never met a cat like you.
One who like to play fetch,
play fight, wrestle, eat food right from my plate.
Hate when doors are closed.
You’re a weird combination of a puppy and a toddler.
You’re bad to the bone,
your mind filled with evil,
All you see is red.
And all I see is orange.
