It’s Just His Personality
When you told me “I know he’ll come back because he loves me. He wouldn’t permanently leave me carrying my emotions with heft.”
You dreaded my response as I said “if he really loved you, he wouldn’t have left.”
And when you told me, “he is disregardful because he cares about me. You know, tough love? He insists despite my resistance.”
You dreaded my response as I said “if he really loved you, he wouldn’t make you rethink your entire existence.”
And when you told me, “I’m not worried about his anger and yelling because all couples fight.”
You dreaded my response as I said “If this was true love you would understand that this just isn’t right.
And when you told me, “I love him so much that I don’t care if affection is something he will lack.”
You already knew my response was going to be, “if he really loved you, he would say I love you, back.”
So if it’s “just his personality” to not make you feel loved, cared for, and so very special for every flaw and quirk
Then I would say his personality needs lots and lots of work
