Absence and Congruence
Gray is singular
An empty entity with solitude as
its companion
Gray is neutral
A combination of black and white,
differing in everything except the color they create
Light and dark,
both the calm and the storm in unison
Good and evil,
empathy encompassing indifference in the storm cloud of a displaced being
It identifies with nothing, no one
It is singular,
but whole
in bringing together both sides of a narrative
directing the journey of a sailor at sea.

A dark sky deserves to be acknowledged, seen and represented. We’re all similar to gray in that way.
