When The Sun Comes Out
when flowers open and the sun comes out, will u seek me then
will u want me like i am new
now u look in my eyes searching for someone who sparkles in the sun
when springtime comes
will u realize what you’ve lost
will u realize how the snow blurred your love
the fog that filled your mind when u saw me cry
perhaps that’s the reason u didn’t react?
u showed no sorrow
u showed no remorse
i like to believe it’s the winter that held u
hid u in its grasp
killed the warmth inside
but i know this is not true
come spring time nothing will change but the way the leaves grow and the way the earth sings
colors will bloom and flowers will change
but the only change i look for
is you
