The Rules of Life
Rule 1:
Try your hardest. Always. If you never try, then you will never know your capacity for new findings and adventures. Lack of effort originates from fear— it's like fog on an early morning drive; it's always there and clouds visions of success. It holds you back. Listen to the criticism and the people who tell you that you can’t. They will see you in the future and say, “Wow. She did that.” Your successes will provoke greatness from your most prominent critics. Choose to be motivated by fear; accept that you are scared, and do it anyway. Prove yourself wrong. And, if you do fail, so what? Failure builds character anyways.
Rule 2:
Smile. Just smile. Bad days are inevitable, so just make the best out of them. A smile is medicine for yourself and the people around you. If you are sad, smile. If you are happy, smile. There is absolutely
nothing bad that can come from smiling.
Rule 3:
Learn because knowledge is power. Others expect perfection as you are assigned the title “smart,” but what does “smart” even mean? The ability to memorize information, write it on a paper, and then completely forget it? Pretty much. You could cram information into your brain, or you could choose to understand the information. Choose the second option. Get excited. Know that you are learning to help the future generations. Sure, no one will probably come up to you and ask you to find the tangent of 3 pi, but if they do then, boom, you will know.
