Dull
I looked far up into the sky
Look at the sun and squint my eyes
I said aloud “it’s much too bright”
When suddenly to my surprise
The sun sneered down and raised a brow,
Then asked in a mocking tone,
“Is it that I am far too bright, or you are far too dull?”
The moon looked down that very night,
Looked down at me and heaved a sigh.
“What is it that you want this time?”
I asked the moon through dark and night
The moon just stared and then I knew,
He and the stars thought me dull too.
