Addiction feels like an ex-girlfriend that you love but you hate

Addiction chooses your path and your fate 

Just one more time 

I can stop at any time if i really wanted to

These are things people say when they’re addicted 

Addiction blossoms like a flower 

 and hurts like thorns

 Addiction is pain that’s masked as a solution

Addiction says it loves you but in reality, it doesn’t

If we being real , Addiction forms from loving something too much until it controls you 

You love something you’re addicted to

The reality of addiction is a form of love

But addiction is a love that can kill you

You can’t save someone who’s addicted unless they want to save themself

How come addiction is tied to drugs 

One feels loved by drugs because it gives them happiness

But that happiness can kill them in the process

Addiction kills the mind

Addiction kills the body

Addiction kills the ability to have free will

One that is addicted is a slave to addiction

They’re a slave to addiction forever

Unless they understand that they’re addicted

We can’t judge another because they have addictions

Because everyone has an addiction 

Whether that addiction is positive or negative
