And while I hate
That I do not hold you in my arms
Every night
And wake up to your lips
Every morning
I will admit that my heart does grow
Every time the phone rings
And the mere thought
Of being able to text you
"Come home"
Instead of
"I wish I was there"
Is enough to pump my blood.
