Some Things Never Change
Blue eyes with curiosity
A mind of cluttered thoughts
Hands that tremble
And small red dots
Clothes in the corner
Dresses never worn
A cluttered desk
And a girl forlorn
Evenings home alone
“Why didn’t you show up?”
Texts left on delivered
About to erupt
Sit in the dark
Cry silently alone
Pick myself up
My problems are my own

This started as a poem I needed to write for school, it is now one of my favorite things I’ve ever written. Some people told me they liked it, while others told me rhyming was childish. Regardless of what they said I know I love my poem and I hope you enjoy it as well.
