Brown Noise
quiet like the ocean
don’t make a sound
your regrets will swallow you
in the depths of your soul
flooded with darkness
everything unknown
are you ever safe?
always alone
marry me in the pits of hell where i belong
because tonight they’re singing my song
regret
hopeless night of hopeless dreams again
regret
tonight i may lie sleep again
regret
swallow me whole and spit me out
because i’m too sour to hold
darkness
is that really my soul
or what’s around it?
tonight is the night you see your destiny
someone hold my soul
and love me
something to keep me whole
please
don’t let me go
to know but to not
stuck in a circle
die because that’s the only way out of the hole
