Synesthesia in Life
A star sounds like the crackling of
a woodwick candle while laying on
your couch watching a movie
A whisper looks like driving down the
road on a foggy day trying to see through
An idea coming to your mind is like
waking up from the perfect nap;
refreshed and ready to go
White moves like the wind hitting
your curtains, blowing them into
the house on a cold fall day
The swirl of loneliness sounds
like the blue ocean hitting the
sharp jagged rocks while
standing at the edge looking out
If you turn hope on high, you
will see bright shooting stars
When you tiptoe through the valley
of happiness you may find a field
of red and pink roses to frolic through
while looking at a pink and orange sky
