Saturday Race Day
6am. Wake up, Shower, Coffee, Breakfast, out the hotel
7am. Arrive at the race track. Meet everyone. Registration
8am. Prep the car. Fuel the Car. Tires on. Ready to go
9am. Suit up. Jump in the Car. Fire it up. Drive up to the grid
10am. Qualifying on the track. Tires getting heated up. Getting faster Lap after Lap
11am. Checkered flag. Pull into the pits. Drive to the paddock. Jump out of the car and cool off
12pm. Lunch Break. Laughter from all the racers. Stories being told. Smell of BBQ in the air
1pm. Watching the other races. Anxiety running through me waiting for my race to be called
2pm. “Race Group 4 to the grid” says the speaker. Suit up. Jump in. Fire ‘er up
3pm. Roll up to the grid. Final good luck from the family and race crew. Out we go
4pm. An Hour race coming to an end. The car is running tired. Checkered flag is thrown
5pm. Cheers are heard from victory lane. Racers talking about the race. Good times are coming
6pm. Post race inspections finished. Day coming to an end. Shutdown everything for the night
7pm. People start to get tired. Everyone starts to turn in for the night
8pm. The Families and Crews head out to dinner
9pm. Talking about drama, other motorsports, and life
10pm. Back to the hotel. Charge all the devices. Climb in bed. Sleep. And repeat next morning.
