Round and round
My life is like a bus
Wheels are rounding with bumps in the road
Fly guts are scattered across the windshield,
Passengers keep to themselves only to secretly judge one another.
The purple thoughts of envy can be heard from every corner
Yet, I drown them out with Harry’s house as I round the corner of Menominee park
on my way to the next stop.
I inhale my regrets and sorrows and
the bitter taste of mistake is left on my tongue.
The wheels continue to round and round.
The blue thoughts are beckoning me towards them, while the yellow are slowly losing strength.
Ya no quiero que llores.
The universe will bring you más confianza.
Today is the Day for you Dey!
Thou shan't let thy bully you.
The burnt rubber radiates off the tires
like the fragrance of stress and worry radiates off me.
And that’s on periodt.
The wheels round and round some more
as I take a left towards panic and then a right towards attack.
The bus screeches to a stop and lets off the spiraling passengers
while the new ones huddle on for a new trip.
The wheels again,
Round and Round
