Better In Memory
The friendship we used to have is better in memory
The way we used to laugh,
The way you made me smile
The fond memories you and I created
I can still look back and a smile will paint my face
The memories we won’t create
You took that
You let your pride and opinion get in the way of my love
I even came back to you
Yet you messed it up again
Even though we aren’t friends, I still checked on you
That’s how much i cared, how much I care
We won’t ever be the same and i know that its better if you remain in my memory, as you were, as we were
