Do you prefer summer or fall?

Personally my favorite color is malachite green

Not the super dark parts

And not the bright parts everyone sees

But the muted parts, it is the gray greens that stand out

The greens that accent the more bold colors

The part that gets overlooked the most 

Even though it is arguably the most beautiful part

It is the color of his eyes

Honestly I have always loved that color

But I never appreciated it the way I do now

The least complicated part of the color is why it's my favorite

That’s the beauty of malachite green

It is so simple yet so complicated

There is not one definition, yet when defined its so simple

That is the beauty of loving malachite green

You learn things both simple and complex

Like the fact that I prefer fall
