Memories
I remember the times when I was little,
Where everything seemed so big.
My favorite park with the huge twisty slides,
A jungle gym seemingly stretching forever,
And the swings where I often spent my time,
A cloudy haze of good memories alongside my childhood friends.
As I get older the glory of our elementary school playground isn't quite as grand,
It's just a regular park, but even so the memories still stand.

This piece was inspired by memories of the old park I use to play in as a child, the memories vs. the reality of how i see it now.
