Perspective
She throws me around during the night.
Not on purpose though,
I don't think she realizes she's doing it.
In the morning I'm on the floor,
staring up at the ceiling.
Her face shows up above me with a big grin as she picks me back up.
She puts me back on the bed,
this time I'm sitting up.
With her backpack she leaves,
for another day at school.
Now I'm alone on the bed with the cat.
The cat is sweet, fluffy like a pillow.
He lays on top of me the whole day until she's home again.
And then we're back to cuddling during the night.
I love being her stuffed animal.
