The Talia and the Harley
Talia was graceful and knew her self-worth.
Harley was fast and somehow always escaped giving birth.
The boys worshipped Harley, she knew how to have fun.
Lana? Not so much. “She was dang near a nun.”
Harley hated Talia she thought she was a prude.
Harley always badmouthed her. Isn’t that rude?
Years had passed and so had Harley.
HIV had taken her life, faster than a wild animal who was snarly.
Talia had found a man who loved God as much as her.
She’d finally found real love. He loved her for sure.
Harley moved fastly, had no class, and was a thing of the past.
Talia moved slowly, didn’t put on a show, and rose to the top like some bread or dough.

So, I took their concept and allegorized The Tortoise and the Hare to share the way they gaslite her.
