screaming in dreams
because,
it’s not my fault for dressing in petals
pale red like the whites of my eyes
for an existence, not even living,
just there
the patient light at a front gate
shines even in the nighttime
the sunflowers whose frantic thrashing is hidden in the black sky
and they reach for it as if it is home
