Not today
I had just finished a test
the bell was about to ring
I packed my stuff up and was ready to go.
Counting down,
Staring at the clock
Realizing it's not helping time go by any faster
Two minutes later
Which felt like hours
The Bell finally Rang
I sprinted toward my locker
trying to get out there before
The biggest bullies in school walked through
not 1,
not 2
but 3 of them
I'm telling you enormously big
Like as big as a full-grown pig
you could hear them from across the school
Sounding like a herd of animals walking through the hall
Always coming through 2 minutes after the bell
I ran to my locker as fast as a lizard
Sprinted
Pushed
Shoved
Whatever I had to do
To get through to everyone.
My heart was pounding so fast
The nerves and rage going through my head
I was not gonna have it with them today
And for what!
They think they're there all huffing and puffy
But everyone knows they’re not
it's not that I have something against them personally
it's the fact that they bully everyone
Treating them like trash
Disrespecting them
They weren’t gonna ruin my day today
I did what I knew was right
I went on to class
Didn’t even have to see them
I was so excited
The rest of my day turned out amazing
