Snap!
Snap!
Sparks fly like fireflies of the horizon
Swirling in song of dance with each other
For I am merely a spectator sidelined
Off of reflective lens that dances in the iridescent night
The moon stagnant and frozen as the hot summer air lays still
Fireflies swarm and bellow as my own memories
Remembrance of the past waiting to be gripped
Within my swathing unattended barren palms
Snap!
The winding, spinning, pairing of tires sail away
Swaying behind, the loose chain is dragged upon the asphalt
Like an angel of feathered wings within the crispin hour
Soaring, flying, I combust within the air and,
Conjoin with the lone lamp post strict and immovable
Robust on the lonesome corner of the lonesome child
Snap!
Twinkling lights of white shimmer
The liquified wax of the singular elongated candle
Drips as tears against the pounding invitation of crystalline snowflakes
Flush within the plethora of prickling olive pine
Globes dangle as glowing sensations reflect off the spheres,
Silent as the night
And stiffly clutches each memory of a lost life within
The gaze of my very own eyes fixated on the void
Waves of the azure pupils frosted over
As the stream of the river ceases
Snap!
For as life is lonesome as the dawn of the night
The importance comes from finding self happiness
The world rotates continuously with or without
So breathe deep and enjoy each night as your last
And catch the wandering fireflies burning of ash
