Addiction
You told yourself that it would only be a one time thing.
Turned into a saturday thing,
Then you get so addicted to the feeling,
It even turns into a daily habit.
Then you start to realize that it's taking over your life,
Ruining Relationships,
Ruining everything.
You know you need a change.
So you start getting sober,
1 day turns into 1 month
Then that 1 month turns into 5 months
Then 5 months turn into 7 months.
You are doing a lot better,
Have more friends,
Doing better in school.
And you wish to never feel like this again

This poem is really important to me because I've seen so many people go through addictions including me and i just want to let teens and who ever is reading this that their not alone and it will get better but it will take a little bit and that just how it is. You cant automatically stop something you're addicted to.
