Friendly behavior
We smile as we pass in the hallway, but our devotion to one another was abandoned long ago
Your social media is abundant with your new friends and topics in your life i'm no longer apart of
The songs we made together when we were 6 still ring in my ears when i hear you laugh with people you once despised cause of their behavior
I remember that gap between your teeth, that is now only a memory ,you wear mascara and highlighter now, your room is a boring white unlike the vibrant teal and pink that once entombed your walls
I miss the way you talked about dance, the passion you felt for it, the way your eyes shone. Nothing makes your eyes shine like that anymore
We’ve outgrown each other but i still find myself hankering for the friendship that once filled my life, now we are merely strangers passing in the halls
