I speak before I think,

The outcome causing you to sink,

Not only have I caused you to grieve,

I leave myself to reprieve,

For I deserve punishment,

And you deserve accompaniment,


I am rueful of my ignorance,

Whilst your companionship is far more deserving,

My insolence has tainted thous quintessence,

Yet you remain subserving,

It is admirable,

As it is ineradicable

I was arguing with a friend at the time when I was writing this and said something extremely hurtful in the heat of the moment.
