The frosty ice melts

And blue birds chirp their songs

Lilac flowers bloom as hope for the rest

Hot and cold combine as one

Creating the most beautiful mornings

Cherry trees and nature’s rebirth

Spring!

Each day is longer,

It’s time to wander

The sun beams wrap around you

Acting as a warm blanket

Butterflies fly in the warm air

Dancing amongst the daisies

Summer!

Sweater weather everywhere,

Pumpkin spice and pumpkin pies

Changing trees, filled with grace

Their last days holding color

The most dreamful sunsets

Letting you come alive, one again

Fall!

A white quilt

Allowing the ground under to sleep

The world is-a living snow globe

Time stands still

You sleep and wake up in darkness

Only your imagination can bring out the color

Winter!

The author's comments:

Seasons and nature are so fascinating, and for that, they deserve a poem admiring them.
