A river

rushes beneath me

as if it was free.

Bars of the bridge,

the cold and hot metal

slips

       under

               my fingers.

Air flows into my nose

as I find the doors I close.

One deep breath…

I climb.

Climb as the scarlet secrets,

the ones I fear most,

scatter       up

in

       my

thoughts.

The scarlet questions

that haunted me

fill the air.

and when I look down,

flakes of white

enter my vision from the right.

My feet tremble.

and the inevitable future weighing on my shoulders.
