To me, you feel like an old hoodie,
worn and pilling with hidden pockets revealing complexities and memories
and everything good, warm, and comfortable in this life lovingly folded
to perfection in every crease,
but I bet to you, I am that one bracelet that sits on your nightstand,
the one that you never seem to remember or wear,
but also never put away,
the one you think about
less
and less
every day
until finally
you just throw it away.
