Grayish, Bluish Eyes
Those eyes
Those grayish, bluish eyes
Deeper, deeper still I look
They have me hooked
This feeling is something I can’t define
Between you and me is a fine line
What do I cry?
Why do I mourn for something that isn’t mine?
What should I do about those grayish, bluish eyes?
They speak to me in a way I can’t describe
They pull me in with a stare
Is this fair?
I can’t look away
I must stay
Why don’t I pull myself astray
I need to gaze into those eyes one last time
This feels like a crime, yet I still proceed
It’s a need
A purpose for to look into those grayish, bluish eyes
Further, and farther still
You look away
I cannot stay
I drift along a road
But I see something and slow
Those grayish bluish eyes are back
Once again, I stare
But the canvas is different
The eyes are not yours anymore
But the eyes
The eyes are the same
