The Hypocrite
You’re an idiot for believing in yourself,
I hate people who think they’re better than the others
I hate people who have something to prove.
I hate boredom, I hate cliches, I hate trying to be different
But most of all I hate you.
The hypocrite.
In a world where everyone thinks they’re better than they are,
I’m the best.
In a world where everyone hates some part of themselves,
I love everyone else.
But I think I’m learning to love myself.
Or at the very least live with myself.
Who I was contradicts who I am.
But if they were both me, and I’m the same man,
am I defined by mistakes or growth,
or am I taken as I am?
I don’t really know.
All I know is, you’re an idiot for believing in yourself.
I hate you for doing what I do.
I hate watching mirrors walk around.
And most of all, I hate you.
The Hypocrite.
