Your attention
Constant bickery
Acutely querulous
And eminently irritating
Yet, discreetly considerate
Discreetly attentive
As if it were a weakness
A weakness under that querulous mask
Eyes that scrunch up as you banter
The slight undertones of contentment in your sonically pleasing voice
Handwriting, continually satisfying eyes that lay upon it
A smirk so exasperating yet
Sympathetic and sincere
How would one not ache for your attention?
