Films
We watch films because
reality is so f***ed up.
Shocking headlines and social media buzz
and hypocritical politicians
All have their say. But thank God
we still have films, which prolong
our life to about ten times.
I hate the way
People talking about wars in places far away
As if they are talking about tomorrow’s weather
Or what to eat next meal.
So instead I go to watch films,
In which people truly lament for those distant outcry.
Portrait of a lady, Touch of a finger;
Eyes filled with tear, Class full of poetry;
Splendid nebulae, Heartbroken letters;
A dummy can be the smartest,
A killer can be the softest.
Blue can also be the warmest color.
When real life fails us,
We turn to the films;
When others’ life attracts us,
We turn to the films.
In films we got to be
everyone else but ourselves.

I consider the most of humanity lies in those celluloid. Theaters and cinemas are nowadays shelters for reality refugees.
Also I managed to include fragments of some fantastic movies between my lines. I’d be more than glad if you are willing to find those out;)
