Finding my Place

I wanted to help the world
in a way that wasn't my own
and become those
who I thought so brightly shone
so I pondered on
spending my days
behind politic's podium
or in chemistry's coat
ignoring all that I wrote
about my mathematical distaste
and the art of speaking
that I must have misplaced
and ignoring the hope
that my artistic incline
could be more than just design
