Whirlwind of Blue

I enjoyed my view
from above the clouds
and the stillness of time
that I worked to keep
but the whirl of air
you brought through my door
set time spinning
on it's wobbly feet
and in came the want
to match my step
and to hold my gaze
to the whirlwind of blue
which parted the veil
my eyes would keep
so the first thing I saw
was you
