She Doesn't Rest

Nature!

Whatever happens, it doesn’t sleep,

At least, it’s not supposed to-right?

It is the one part of life that isn’t perfect, but is still perfect.

Branches built in all directions,

Yet so beautiful!

Nature-it is so benevolent to all of us,

It shows us infinite beauty,

The wind frolics with our hair,

Allowing us to heal, annihilating the hurt.

When there is only darkness left,

deep in their roots, plants preserve the light,

which transpires into flowers and fruits eliciting human life.

But this light is diminishing,

Right this moment, someone, somewhere is burning fuel,

with every turn of a switch, the sea rises with fury,

A new factory is built, and the strongest glaciers fall defeated.

The animals that once trudged the land, nowhere to be seen,

Disappeared, gone, vanished!

The force that brings tranquility to life,

All being destroyed.

And mother Earth doesn’t tolerate, it is being ravaged.

Our only action, is to compromise with each other,

To bring it back to life and rejuvenate our planet-

Nature!
