An ode to the boy I can never have
I’m only supposed to watch you from afar
Never let you know that you have a fan
Hide from the truth in my feelings for you
Pretend as if I don’t remember your name when in reality I remember any detail I’ve found about you
I realise that your a forbidden fruit
But how much I wish to know how sweet you taste
None of your friends really understand how amazing you are
Your girlfriend doesn’t appreciate your kindness
Your siblings force the bad from your perfect exterior
Your parents don’t celebrate how academically achieved you really are
How I wish to show them what their missing
But I’m not allowed to give away this secret
So you must remain a hope
A dream
A desperately unreachable future of the oblivious boy and the wishing girl
