June 13, 2022
The willows rustled and the wind howled,
all under the bright moonlight.
My shadow quietly to me bowed.
I am alone with no one in sight.
With the walk, memories flood back,
in nostalgic waves.
Of the past a sea so black,
rest in peace at last in the graves.
