Nature's Sorrow
She listens but speaks seldom
For wilderness creeps into her words
Her heart aches nonetheless
She was never meant to be nature's fairy
Unknown for a sight to behold
Unsure for a being to be known
Alas! The forest hears her cries
It doesn't misinterpret like mankind
Like a withering leaf she is
The last drop of life makes her live
When will her dreams come true?
For how long will she make it through?
This world of twisting vines
Each breath becomes fruitless
She never gets a chance to explain
Will she choke grief as her last gift?

I've always took a keen interest in nature and it's miracles. This poem sought to bring a familiarity between emotions and nature's ideas.
