This piece is based on a Sentinel, a robot from the X-Men comics that is programmed to eradicate mutants. However, this Sentinel has developed emotions and is learning what his purpose is. It struggles to find its identity, wondering if his initially programmed goal is moral or not. In the end, his emotions are no match for his programming and he succumbs to the rock-hard code.
