Fear of Fear
Dear fear please leave me alone
You have taken so much from me and it is starting to be shown
I want to live happy and in peace
You take myself from me piece by piece
You hold me back from my full potential
I try to keep my fear confidential
Excuses after excuses until they see
I am just in fear of the bad possibility
Keeping me wrapped around your finger
Please let me go and do not linger
I must move on and live my life
But you keep stabbing me like a knife

My fear holds me back from many wonderful opportunities. I do not want fear to hold me back anymore. This poem is my letter to fear telling it to leave me alone and get out of my head.
